Here we are, after reading for the night whole blogs and forums dedicated to the ants, their farm and the various adventures for them, now that I've decided to throw myself in this strange passion I also thought I'd start my own blog, because I found some very useful existing know and appreciate in this world, so I think that one can not be more than a help to people like me who want to try to venture out of the ant farm, and a little bit because I like to have a kind of virtual diary to write all special events that will happen from here on out.
26, this month I made the order from most workers AntStore two queens of Lasius Niger, I read everywhere that are the easiest to care for and maintain that I would say that is a good start. In theory they should arrive today also because I'm already past 3 days (I was hoping that I get the 28 ç_ç I know that the GLS has fallen asleep here in Italy).
afternoon instead go to buy materials for the construction of the farm (the nest), I decided to build it from me for two reasons: the first is that I read around the farm AntStore, in addition to cost a lot, not are just very reliable and the second is that however you build-it-yourself is much more fun and satisfying than buying it already made. The same actually applies to capture the queen, but here in the city where I am is that if they see a lot so I preferred to play it safe and fast: P.
