Shyness?

When excessive shyness can seriously affect social relations and adversely affect a stable and enduring as that bond of marriage.

A demonstration was to research published in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin .

A key issue in psychology - explain the authors of Levi and James K. Baker McNulty of the University of Tennessee - Is the degree to which the personality of an individual determines the quality of social relations. In two different studies, U.S. researchers have demonstrated how excessive shyness can seriously affect a marriage bond, leading to a lower degree of satisfaction in the relationship.

shy people have more problems to trust your partner, are more jealous and tend to manage money in a manner worse than those who are more extrovert, stress the authors. Moreover, given their difficulty to entertain social relations at the time that there is a problem in their relationship as a couple not talk to anyone and tend to grudges and anger.

"But there is still hope, even if the shyness is very resistant to change," say the authors. Shy people, in fact, should learn to deal with problems more decisively, especially in case of difficulty in a relationship, taking the breast and avoiding situations leading to "postpone" everything always tomorrow. An attitude that seems very difficult to take, not only for those who are shy.
