Alcoholism: a term that often is used in a inproprio, but in reality, in most cases, it becomes synonymous with "taboo". L 'alcoholism is a disease that is often underestimated in its severity and its consequences. It spreads like a cancer in society reaping silent damage and many casualties. The province, hospitals and various organizations in recent years are focusing on prevention. The results are certainly good but not enough to defeat this scourge. The problem of 'alcoholism unfortunately not only ruin the life of the individual concerned but also the families of other people involved. For fear of the Company's opinion in many cases, partners, children and other family members go to great lengths to hide the problem by closing our eyes to this grim reality. Propio Perhaps this is the real problem: there are 29,000 alcoholics in South Tyrol, but these are only those known to give us the statistics. Many people do not admit to be employees and therefore do not help. Another problem that comes together to 'alcoholism and violence, particularly against wives and children. Many men, including women, after drinking no longer able to control themselves and their loved ones hurt both physically and psychologically. The most important thing to be able to "change" and to defeat this disease is to talk and choose to help themselves. Why hide the truth and refusing to be employees of 'alcohol, the disease still subdue their victims.
