The Broadway musical "The Lion King" is already a worldwide success that is represented by seven years in Hamburg. It tells the story of the movie "The Lion King" Walt Disney and the music was written by Elton John. The 19 songs are sung by performers in most of them coming from 'Africa and' Asia.
Plot
Great King Mufasa is celebrating the birth of Simba. His brother, the evil Scar, but the shadows and texture develops a plan to lead to death the same Mufasa. The young Simba is wronged and cheated by his uncle left the herd. With the help of the hyenas Scar becomes king taking the throne in ruins. Simba meets two new friends, Timon and Pumba, and they carried away to a carefree and irresponsible. The chance meeting with ex-playmate, Nala, together with the 'help of the shaman Rafiki, bring him back to their duties. Challenge Scar and return peace and prosperity in the kingdom.
My trip to Hamburg
few weeks ago, I went with my parents and 'other family friends for a weekend in Hamburg, to go to watch the spectacle of the famous musical "The Lion King." We left on Friday morning to Monaco and then take the 'plane to Hamburg. We spent two days in a beautiful, beautiful city. We visited the large port, the Panopticum (wax museum) and many other interesting attractions. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly on Saturday night, where we went to the theater to go see "Disney's König der Löwen". We had a perfect place, right in the middle of the room. When did the performance, during the first scene I could not believe my eyes! The scenery, costumes and makeup and brightly colored animals (elephants, giraffes, birds, lions, cheetahs, giraffes ,...), special effects ... a dream of Walt Disney, incredibly charming. And then the 'orchestra, the actors, the powerful voices of the singers, most in color, beautiful African rhythms, all give me strong emotions. Towards the middle of the show c 'was a pause and then continued, even stronger than before. After three hours of the show passed like a breath, unfortunately already had reached the grand final. Scenes so beautiful as to seem unreal and a final tune that left the entire audience speechless. After the musical, to conclude the evening we went to eat a pizza and then we fell into our beds exhausted but happy to have seen the great "Lion King". The next day we left about the third morning to return home. A 'fantastic experience to remember!
